Who knows though, same thing might happen on Switch. The only part that requires online is getting on the GR leaderboards. They actually said that you can play your seasonal characters offline on Switch. It will be awesome knowing everyone is playing fair. Seasons online only will be safe from hacked items and such. I'm asking as I have been considering getting a switch for a while, and now the thought of playing D3 on a handheld device is making it even more tempting, but probably woulden't bother purchasing D3 if people will just be hacking to the top of the leaderboards! ![]() So my question is was this ever addressed? Especially in regards to seasons? Because to my knowledge an internet connection was not required to play which appears to be the same for the Switch.Īlso do people even hack Nintendo games? If not then i guess this is not going to be an issue. So i'm quite out of the loop on the situation on hacking items. I didn't stick around for very long on console as a result of this and just stuck with the pc version of the game. But I remember purchasing Diablo 3 for Ps3 back when it was very first released on consoles and there was a lot of hacking of items going on giving players an unfair advantage. Question Hacked items on Switch? I don't know if this has been addressed at all since Diablo 3 was announced to be coming out on the Nintendo Switch.
